Stock Android V/S Other Skins and UI's
Many smartphones come with custom UI's.But brands like Nokia use stock Android in their mobiles.So here is the comparison between Stock Android and Other Skin's and UI's.
Stock Android
Google provide's stock Android in it's own Pixel smartphones.Pixel smartphones receive updates first.Stock Android has many benefits like no bloatware,faster security and Android version updates.And stock Android feels faster to use too.And it also looks good and come with stock applications from Google like Google dialer,contacts,calculator,clock,etc.And infact brands like Nokia and Motorola provide stock Android in their phones.Nokia gives faster updates to it's smartphones.Motorola also gives updates to it's smartphones.
Google also has the Android One program in which it aims to bring Stock Android in smartphones.Devices with Android One program comes with quicker Android updates and security updates for atleast 2 years.Xiaomi also launched the Mi A1 under the Google's Android One program.Nokia also started using Android One on it's new devices like the Nokia 6(2018),Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco as well as some devices launched earlier.
Other skin's and UI's
Many smartphone brand's customise Google's Android by changing it's UI,features,etc.Samsung's Samsung Experience,Xiaomi's MIUI,Vivo's FunTouch OS,Oppo's ColorOS,etc. are some of the custom UI's by the Smartphone brands.The benefit of custom UI's is that they are highly customisable which stock Android may not provide.Custom UI's come with their own versions of applications like phone app,messaging app,camera app,browser,etc.These brand's requires time to customise the Android version provided to them by Google and they can't provide faster updates.Custom UI's are heavy,sometimes filled with bloatware which fills phone's internal memory,etc.
Conclusion
If you want faster security updates to make your mobile secure and also receive faster Android version updates,then you can buy a Stock Android mobile.But if you want more customisations and don't prefer for faster updates on your device then you can buy a Mobile with custom Skin and UI.
